Thanks everyone who came along to our forum on Thursday – it was great to hear about how we can use complaints processes to know our rights and self-advocate when things are of concern to us, and to hear from the fabulous advocacy organisations working in Christchurch who can support us. Big thanks to all the speakers from the Human Rights Commission, CDHB, Health and Disability Advocacy Service, and Consumer and Advocacy Service.

We are now getting on to organising our next forum which will look at how we can be empowered and resourced to make decisions around alcohol and drug use over the Christmas season.
