Awareness will be meeting this Monday, 10th September, at our new venue – MHAPS Community Wellbeing Centre, 826 Colombo Street. If you are a member of the group, would like to join up, or are someone with personal experience of mental health or addictions issues and would like to find out about what we do, please feel free to join us. We will be meeting for nibbles and networking from 12.30pm with the meeting itself starting at 1pm. Some of the things we will be discussing include youth issues, what’s happening in the addictions sector, training opportunities for consumers who want to sit on mental health service staff interview panels and provide their expert opinion, the seclusion elimination film we have been producing, and getting involved in Mental Health Awareness Week.
